http://in.lifestyle.yahoo.com/leave-your-ipad-at-home--travel-with-an-indian-tablet.html

The Government of India launched Akash, the cheapest Tablet PC  on October 5 th 2011. This is the cheapest Tablet PC not only in the India but also world wide.

 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aakash_(tablet)

Refer to the wiki link given above for more details. The Tablet PC has been launched to link about 25,000 colleges and 400 Universities  in an e learning programme.

Significantly, Jupiter is passing over the Vidya Saham on 8 th of October,2011 while the Tablet has been launched on 5 th of the month. Sun is the lord of Fourth house which shows Education.

At the time of the transit, Retrograde Jupiter has a 80% aspect on the natal A4 and 90% on the natal Sun who is the fourth lord.

In the Independance chart,Jupiter is the lord of 8 th and 11th houses. Jupiter does not have the Ashtamaadhipathya dosha and moreover by being the lord of the 8 th house signifies inventions and discoveries.

Asteriod flying by earth today 8.11.2011

http://www.punemirror.in/article/26/20111108201111080034525087c321c51/Giant-asteroid-to-fly-between-Earth-moon.html

A Giant 1300 foot asteriod will come close by to Earth today. The news link is given above for reference.

The chart for the day has been given herein for reference. In support of  my earlier postings observing that Rahu and Ketu trigger asteriod falls this event too substantiates the observation.

In the chart we can see Mercury and Venus in degree conjunction to each other in the Eigth house of the zodiac i.e Scorpio at 13 Sc. Both are in conjunction with Rahu which is at 20 Sc.Saturn has a  strong 71% aspect on Rahu. Both Mercury and Venus are in Ghoraamsa and later in Daavaagni amsaa in D 60  today.

In Khavedamsa : Pluto which is conjunct with Retrograde Uranus and Sun is on the Rahu/Ketu axis.

While there are not that strong indications in the Rasi chart, the Khavedamsa chart shows the possibility of the asteriod coming close to Earth. As such the Asteriod is passing by Earth and not hitting.

Mars, the Bhoomi Kaaraka is in exact opposition to Retrograde Neptune. This again shows the involvement of the outer planets in this kind of events.

Astronomers say this asteriod will fly by earth with out entering the Earth's atmosphere.

More stronger influences than Mercury and Venus would have caused the asteriod fall.

But as the conjunction is happenning in Scorpio,it is interesting for the element of mystery and suddenness which might be involved in the event.

Important Astronomical Events in 2012

March 3 - Mars at Opposition. The red planet will be at its closest approach to Earth and its face will be fully illuminated by the Sun. This is the best time to view and photograph Mars.

March 14 - Conjunction of Venus and Jupiter. The two bright planets will be within 3 degrees of each other in the evening sky.

April 15 - Saturn at Opposition. The ringed planet will be at its closest approach to Earth and its face will be fully illuminated by the Sun. This is the best time to view and photograph Saturn and its moons.

May 20 - Annular Solar Eclipse. The path of annularity will begin in southern China and move east through Japan, the northern Pacific Ocean, and into the western United States. A partial eclipse will be visible throughout parts of eastern Asia and most of North America. (NASA Map and Eclipse Information)

June 5, 6 - Transit of Venus Across the Sun. This extremely rare event will be entirely visible throughout most of eastern Asia, eastern Australia, and Alaska. A partial transit can be seen in progress at sunrise throughout Europe, western Asia, and eastern Africa. A partial transit can be seen in progress at sunset throughout most of North America, Central America, and western South America. The next transit will not take place until the year 2117. (NASA Transit Information | NASA Transit Map)

August 24 - Neptune at Opposition. The blue planet will be at its closest approach to Earth and its face will be fully illuminated by the Sun. This is the best time to view Neptune. Due to its distance, it will only appear as a tiny blue dot in all but the most powerful telescopes.

September 29 - Uranus at Opposition. The blue-green planet will be at its closest approach to Earth and its face will be fully illuminated by the Sun. This is the best time to view Uranus. Due to its distance, it will only appear as a tiny blue-green dot in all but the most powerful telescopes.

November 27 - Conjunction of Venus and Saturn. These two bright planets will be within 1 degree of each other in the morning sky. Look to the east around sunrise.

December 3 - Jupiter at Opposition. The giant planet will be at its closest approach to Earth and its face will be fully illuminated by the Sun. This is the best time to view and photograph Jupiter and its moons.

December 21 - December Solstice. The December solstice occurs at 11:12 UTC. The South Pole of the earth will be tilted toward the Sun, which will have reached its northernmost position in the sky and will be directly over the Tropic of Capricorn at 23.44 degrees south latitude. This is the first day of winter (winter solstice) in the northern hemisphere and the first day of summer (summer solstice) in the southern hemisphere.

    The Canninkin Test ,Amchitka, 1971

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amchitka

This is the chart for the time of the largest under ground nuclear test conducted by USA  in Amchitka on 6 th November,1971. Please refer to the link given above for details.

On a study of the chart we can see a congregation of planets in Scorpio, which is the Eigth house of the natural zodiac and which signifies  mysteries ,under ground objects and activities.
We can see that there are four planets in the sign namely Mercury,Venus,Jupiter and Neptune .
Apart from Jupiter, the other three planets are in close conjunction to each other within a degree to each other.
Venus and Neptune are in Utpaataamsa in D 60.
Jupiter and Saturn are in opposition to each other and Pluto, the signifier of atomic energy is in an earthly sign of Virgo exactly behind 60 degrees in sextile  to Neptune and Venus.
All the four planets in Scorpio are in the star of Saturn and  Mars the dispositor of the planets in this conjunction, is in Aquarius which is the house of Saturn.More over Mars and Saturn are in Mutual aspect to each other. This relation of Mars and Saturn resulted in the release of in exhaustible destructive energies.
The emphasis in this event is the presence of  Neptune in the conjunction to three other planets closely and in opposition to Retrograde Saturn.Amchitka is an island in the pacific ocean where the test was conducted and involvement of Neptune and Scorpio both signifying watery places, has directed the test to be conducted in the area.
The opposition of Jupiter and Saturn triggered mass protests against nuclear tests and environmentalists strongly protested this test on the pretext that this would result in Earth quakes and Tsunamis. The test was code named Canninkin and the results of the test were used to detect the seismic waves created by Russian nuclear tests.

    Asteriod Missing Earth (2002)

    Data Links :
    http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn2444-asteroids-nearmiss-with-earth.html

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2002/jun/21/physicalsciences.spaceexploration

    http://impact.arc.naEara.gov/news_detail.cfm?ID=114

This is a case of an asteroid nearly missing Earth on  June 14 th 2002, which approached very close (up to 75000 miles). The asteroid was traveling at about 10 Km per sec. It sped away with out entering the Earth's atmosphere and causing any impact. The asteroid was not detected by any automated observatories as it approached from the direction of the Sun and was seen only after three days of its closest approach.

The chart for the day has been attached above. In this event too we can see the involvement of Rahu/Ketu axis and Pluto.
The conjunction of Pluto with one of the Nodes definitely indicates asteroid falls.

In all the incidents posted by me before, like, The East Mediterranean event,The Vela incident, the Vitim event,The Cando event ,  Pluto being  in conjunction with one of the nodes is predominantly evident.

As such we can conclude that for asteriod falls this combination is a precursor.

In this happening, Pluto is in Degree conjunction with Ketu in Scorpio being in opposition to a Saturn - Rahu combination in Taurus.

Taurus and Scorpio are believed to be the exaltation signs of  Rahu and Ketu respectively which is why the asteriod might have missed hitting Earth.
