Giving Arghya : Take pure water into a copper vessel and add some honey to it. Face towards the Sun and recite 'Om GhriNi Aadityaaya Namah' while pouring the water. You should see the Sun through the water trickling down the vessel.
Alternate Mantra :
Saptaaswa radhamaaroodham Prachandam Kasyapaathmajam,
Sweta padma dharam devam tham sooryam praNamaamyaham.
Recite the mantras 11 times while the water is trickling down.
