यज्ञेश यज्ञपुरुषाच्युत तीर्थपाद

तीर्थ श्रवश्श्रवण मङ्गलनामधेय ।

आपन्नलोकवृजिनोपशमोदाऽऽद्य शं नः

कृधीश भगवन्नसि दीननाथः ॥ १ ॥

विश्वाय विश्वभवनस्थिति सम्यमाय

स्वैरं गृहीतपुरुशक्तिगुणाय भूम्ने ।

स्वस्थाय शश्वदुपबृंहितवूर्णबोध-

व्यापादितात्मतमसे हरये नमस्ते ॥ २ ॥

ఈ రోజు చైత్ర శుక్ల దశమి, పుష్యమీ నక్షత్రం, శుక్ర వారం.

యముడు అంటే అందరికీ భయం. యముడి పేరు వింటే ఇక మరణం దగ్గరకు వచ్చినట్టే అని భావిస్తారు అంతా. అయితే యముడు ఎంతో ధర్మబద్ధమైనవాడు. భూలోకంలో మనుషులు ఎంత తప్పులు చేసినా, దేవుళ్లను పూజించి వాళ్ళ పాపాలు పోయేట్టు ప్రయత్నాలు చేసినా యముడి

निजस्वरूपबोधकं कृपाकरं भवाऽपहम् ।

समं शिवं निरञ्जनं भजे ह राममद्वयम् ॥

सदा प्रपञ्चकल्पितं ह्यनामरूपवास्तवम् ।

निराकृतिं निरामयं भजे ह राममद्वयम् ॥

निष्प्रपञ्च निर्विकल्प निर्मलं निरामयम् ।
